The best solution over the competition

We Do Water Differently

At Carolina Water Pros, we believe your water treatment system should be designed specifically for your home—not pulled from a one-size-fits-all template. While many companies install generic filtration systems, we begin with professional water testing and a detailed analysis of your water quality to identify the exact contaminants affecting your home. This allows us to custom-design a whole-home filtration system that delivers superior performance, greater efficiency, and long-term reliability. We use high-quality components and proven treatment technologies that are built to handle not only your current water conditions but also future changes in water quality. Our systems help protect your plumbing, appliances, skin, hair, and overall water quality while providing cleaner, better-tasting water throughout your entire home. Combined with our expert installation, ongoing support, and commitment to customer satisfaction, Carolina Water Pros delivers customized water treatment solutions that outperform the competition and provide lasting value for years to come.

Reverse Osmosis

It's All In Our Fine Filters

A reverse osmosis system uses multiple stages of filtration to remove sediment, chlorine, chemicals, dissolved solids, and other unwanted contaminants. Water passes through prefilters, an advanced RO membrane, and a final polishing filter before delivering clean, fresh-tasting water directly to your faucet.

purity in every drop

How It Works

Not all RO systems are created equal. And while most systems that can be purchased online, or at the store work well at first, they usually begin to fail quickly, which force homeowners to continuously purchase and change filters. on top of potential failures costing even more money down the road. Carolina Water Pros only use certified, tried and trusted filters to ensure longevity and quality keeping your drinking water at peak performance.

  • HIGH QUALITY PRE-FILTER

    SEDIMENT FILTER

An RO prefilter removes sediment, dirt, rust, chlorine, and other contaminants from water before it reaches the reverse osmosis membrane. This protects the membrane from clogging or damage, improves system performance, and helps extend the life of the entire RO system. Depending on the system, prefilters may include sediment and carbon filters.

  • HIGH GRADE ACTIVATED CARBON

    CARBON BLOCK

A carbon block filter uses compressed activated carbon to reduce chlorine, unpleasant tastes, odors, and certain chemicals from the water. Its dense structure also traps fine particles while improving water quality and protecting the reverse osmosis membrane, helping the RO system operate efficiently and last longer.

  • 100% CATALYTIC COCONUT SHELL CARBON

    CATALYTIC CARBON

Catalytic carbon is a specialized activated carbon that reduces chlorine, chloramines, unpleasant tastes, odors, and certain organic chemicals in water. It is especially effective at treating chloramines, which standard activated carbon may struggle to remove. This improves water quality while helping protect the reverse osmosis membrane and extend the system’s life.

  • HIGH GRADE RO MEMBRANE

    RO MEMBRANE

A reverse osmosis membrane is the primary purification stage of an RO system. It uses water pressure to push water through an extremely fine, semipermeable membrane while significantly reducing dissolved salts, total dissolved solids (TDS), lead, arsenic, fluoride, chromium, nitrates, sulfates, chlorides, hardness minerals, many PFAS compounds, microplastics, bacteria, viruses, cysts, and other unwanted contaminants. The purified water passes through the membrane and continues to the storage tank, while the rejected contaminants are concentrated into a separate wastewater stream and flushed to the drain. This process improves the water’s purity, taste, odor, and overall quality. Actual reduction performance depends on the membrane, system design, water pressure, temperature, and incoming water quality.

  • ACTIVATED CARBON

    HIGH GRADE ACTVATED CARBON

A post-carbon polishing filter is the final filtration stage in a reverse osmosis system. It is installed after the RO membrane and storage tank, treating the water just before it reaches the drinking-water faucet. Using activated carbon, it reduces any remaining unpleasant tastes and odors that may develop while the purified water is stored in the tank. This final “polishing” step gives the water a cleaner, fresher taste and provides a finishing layer of filtration before use.

Why We Are Trusted

Our Expertise Makes The Difference

At Carolina Water Pros, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all water treatment. Every system we install is custom-sized and designed around the home’s water-test results, plumbing, flow rate, and household usage. An undersized system can cause low water pressure, hardness breakthrough, staining, unpleasant odors, and inconsistent water quality—especially when multiple showers, appliances, and fixtures are used at once. It may also regenerate too frequently, wasting water and salt while shortening the equipment’s lifespan.

Choosing the correct treatment media is just as important. The wrong media may fail to properly remove hardness, iron, sulfur odors, sediment, or other contaminants and could contribute to scale buildup, corrosion, clogged plumbing, stained fixtures and laundry, and premature appliance damage. While some competitors simply sell standard equipment, we provide a complete treatment solution engineered specifically for the customer’s water—delivering consistent performance, better protection, greater efficiency, and lasting value.

100% Custom Designed

Every system is tailored to the home’s water chemistry, plumbing, flow rate, and household usage.

100% Custom-Designed

No two homes have exactly the same water conditions. We design each system specifically for the customer’s water chemistry, plumbing configuration, flow-rate requirements, and daily usage.

4 Factors Evaluated

Water-test results, system capacity, treatment media, and household demand all guide our recommendations.

4 Critical Factors Evaluated

We carefully consider water-test results, equipment capacity, treatment media, and household demand to ensure the system performs reliably—even during peak water usage.

2 Problems Avoided

Proper sizing and correct media help prevent poor performance and potential damage to your home

2 Major Problems Avoided:

Correct sizing helps prevent pressure loss and inconsistent treatment, while the proper media protects against hardness, staining, odors, scale buildup, and potential damage to fixtures and appliances.

Customers receive a system engineered for consistent water quality, efficiency, protection, and long-term value.

1 Complete Water Solution

Instead of selling standard equipment, we provide a complete treatment solution designed to deliver better water, greater efficiency, dependable performance, and long-term protection for the home.

FAQ

Water Filtration: FAQs

The Carolina Water Pro’s FAQ block is designed to give homeowners clear, straightforward answers about their water quality and treatment options. From system installation and maintenance to common water issues and testing results, this section helps simplify the process of understanding your home’s water. It’s built to save time, build confidence, and provide quick access to the information you need to make the best decision for cleaner, safer water.

A whole home system treats all the water entering your house, removing contaminants like sediment, chlorine, iron, and other impurities before they reach your taps, appliances, and showers.

Common signs include bad taste or odor, cloudy water, staining on fixtures, dry skin or hair, and scale buildup on appliances. A professional water test gives the most accurate answer.

Filtration removes contaminants like chlorine, sediment, and chemicals. Water softening specifically targets hardness minerals like calcium and magnesium that cause scale buildup.

It depends on the system and your water quality. Most sediment or carbon filters are replaced every 3–12 months, while larger media tanks may last several years before servicing.

Yes. Systems that remove chlorine, sulfur, and organic compounds significantly improve both taste and odor, making drinking water much more pleasant.

Yes. By reducing sediment, scale, and corrosive elements, filtration helps extend the lifespan of water heaters, dishwashers, washing machines, and plumbing lines.

Filtered water is often better for pets and plants because it reduces chlorine and contaminants that can affect hydration, digestion, and soil balance.

Water filtration systems should be professionally installed only. Proper installation ensures correct sizing, safe connections, optimal water pressure, and full system performance. A trained installer also helps prevent leaks, code issues, and long-term equipment damage, while making sure your system is set up to properly treat your home’s specific water conditions.
