The best solution over the competition

We Do Water Differently

At Carolina Water Pros, we believe your water treatment system should be designed specifically for your home—not pulled from a one-size-fits-all template. While many companies install generic filtration systems, we begin with professional water testing and a detailed analysis of your water quality to identify the exact contaminants affecting your home. This allows us to custom-design a whole-home filtration system that delivers superior performance, greater efficiency, and long-term reliability. We use high-quality components and proven treatment technologies that are built to handle not only your current water conditions but also future changes in water quality. Our systems help protect your plumbing, appliances, skin, hair, and overall water quality while providing cleaner, better-tasting water throughout your entire home. Combined with our expert installation, ongoing support, and commitment to customer satisfaction, Carolina Water Pros delivers customized water treatment solutions that outperform the competition and provide lasting value for years to come.

Designed for longevity and Changes ahead

Our Systems Are Limitless

At Carolina Water Pros, we understand that there are many water treatment companies offering a wide variety of systems and solutions. That’s why we take a different approach. Instead of relying on expensive, proprietary equipment that can only be serviced by a select dealer network, we custom design every water treatment system to match your home’s unique water quality and your family’s specific needs. Our systems are built using high-quality, industry-standard components that are reliable, efficient, and readily available. This means you receive a solution that often delivers better performance and greater long-term value while avoiding the high service costs and limitations that come with proprietary products. Best of all, because our systems use standard components, they can be serviced by virtually any qualified water treatment professional, giving you the freedom to choose who maintains your system for years to come. It’s a smarter investment that puts your needs—not a manufacturer’s restrictions—first.

customized for you

How It Works

Water quality is not static—it can change over time due to seasonal conditions, groundwater fluctuations, municipal treatment changes, well maintenance, environmental factors, or unexpected bacterial contamination. That’s why we design our whole-home water treatment systems with flexibility in mind. Each system can be modified or expanded as your water chemistry evolves, whether that means adding specialized filtration media, upgrading filter cartridges, or incorporating UV disinfection for bacterial protection. By building adaptable systems, we ensure your home’s water treatment can continue to provide safe, clean, high-quality water for years to come, even as your water source changes.

  • HIGH GRADE MEDIA

    PRE FILTER

A whole-house pre-sediment filter is the first line of defense for your home's water treatment system. Installed where the main water line enters the home, it captures sand, silt, rust, dirt, and other suspended particles before they reach your plumbing or downstream filtration equipment. By removing these larger contaminants first, the pre-filter helps protect your home's pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and treatment equipment from premature wear while improving overall system performance. It also extends the life of specialty filtration media by preventing sediment from clogging or coating the treatment media.

One of the biggest advantages of a Big Blue filter housing is its versatility. As your water quality changes over time—or if a new water test identifies different concerns—the filter cartridge can easily be replaced with one designed for your specific needs. Whether you need additional sediment removal, chlorine reduction, iron filtration, tannin reduction, specialty carbon filtration, or other targeted treatment, the housing remains the same while the cartridge can be upgraded in minutes. This flexibility allows your water treatment system to adapt to changing water chemistry without the expense of replacing the entire filtration system.

  • CUSTOM MEDIA

    TANK FILTRATION

Whole-house media filtration tanks are designed to treat specific water quality concerns using specialized filtration media selected based on your water analysis. Depending on your home's needs, these tanks can be filled with catalytic carbon to remove chlorine, chloramines, unpleasant tastes, odors, and many organic contaminants; KDF media to help reduce heavy metals and inhibit bacterial growth; manganese dioxide-based media to remove iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide; pH-neutralizing media such as calcite to correct acidic water; or specialty resins and blended media that target unique water chemistry issues. As water flows through the tank, the media captures, oxidizes, neutralizes, or adsorbs unwanted contaminants, providing cleaner, better-tasting water while protecting your plumbing, fixtures, and appliances. Because the media is selected specifically for your water conditions, each filtration tank is customized to deliver the most effective treatment for your home.

Unlike traditional cartridge filters that require frequent manual replacement, whole-house media filtration tanks are equipped with an automatic control valve that periodically backwashes the system to keep the filtration media clean and operating at peak efficiency. During the backwash cycle, the flow of water is temporarily reversed, lifting and rinsing the media bed to flush away trapped sediment, iron, manganese, and other accumulated contaminants to a drain. This process also reclassifies the media, preventing channeling and ensuring even water flow through the tank. The result is a low-maintenance filtration system that continuously restores its own performance, extends the life of the filtration media, and provides years of reliable water treatment with minimal homeowner involvement.

  • TWIN MEDIA

    SECONDARY TANK

A secondary media tank is used when your water requires treatment for multiple contaminants or when additional filtration capacity is needed. Each tank is designed to perform a specific function, allowing the system to treat water in stages for maximum effectiveness. For example, the first tank may be filled with media to remove iron, manganese, or hydrogen sulfide, while the second tank contains catalytic carbon to reduce chlorine, improve taste and odor, or remove other organic compounds. By separating treatment into dedicated stages, each type of media can perform its job more efficiently without compromising the performance of the other. This modular approach also makes it easy to customize or upgrade the system in the future if your water chemistry changes or new treatment needs arise.

A secondary media tank helps extend the life of the primary filtration system by sharing the treatment workload and providing an additional stage of filtration. This reduces the demand placed on the primary media, allowing both tanks to operate more efficiently and maintain peak performance for a longer period. The result is improved water quality, longer media life, and reduced maintenance over the life of the system.

Combining a twin or secondary tank on well and city home systems also allows for greater water contact time allowing your water to stay corrected longer, in between regeneration cycles. longer durations means less water wasted.

  • HIGH GRADE MEDIA

    POST FILTRATION

A post Big Blue filter serves as the final polishing stage in a whole-home water treatment system, providing one last level of filtration before water enters your home's plumbing. After the primary treatment tanks have removed the bulk of the targeted contaminants, the post filter captures any remaining fine particles, sediment, or media fines while also accommodating specialty cartridges to further refine water quality. Depending on your home's needs, it can be equipped with activated carbon, sediment, catalytic carbon, or other specialized filter media to improve clarity, taste, and odor. This final stage ensures the water delivered throughout your home is as clean, polished, and refined as possible, maximizing the performance of the entire treatment system.

One of the greatest advantages of a post Big Blue filter is its flexibility. If your water chemistry changes over time or new treatment requirements arise, the filter cartridge can be replaced in just a few minutes without modifying the rest of the system. Whether you need finer sediment filtration, additional chlorine or odor reduction, iron reduction, specialty carbon, or another targeted filter, simply swap the existing cartridge for one designed to address your new water conditions. This quick and cost-effective upgrade allows your water treatment system to adapt as your water changes, ensuring your home continues to receive the highest level of filtration without the expense of replacing major equipment.

  • Genuine Crystal & Ultraviolet Bulbs

    UV FILTRATION

An ultraviolet (UV) water purification system provides a powerful, chemical-free barrier against harmful microorganisms that may be present in your water supply. As water passes through the stainless steel UV chamber, it is exposed to high-intensity ultraviolet light that disrupts the DNA of bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms, preventing them from reproducing and causing illness. UV treatment is highly effective against common waterborne pathogens while preserving the natural taste and chemistry of your water. When paired with proper pre-filtration, a UV system provides an added layer of protection and peace of mind, making it an excellent safeguard for both private well and municipal water systems.

A UV disinfection system is an excellent safeguard when a water supply becomes contaminated with harmful microorganisms such as bacteria, including E. coli, and many viruses and protozoa. Whether the contamination results from flooding, well damage, groundwater intrusion, or a municipal boil water advisory, UV technology provides continuous, chemical-free disinfection by inactivating these microorganisms as water passes through the treatment chamber. When properly sized, installed, and maintained—and used with appropriate pre-filtration to ensure clear water—a UV system offers a highly effective final barrier against biological contaminants, helping protect your family even if unexpected changes occur in your water supply.

Why We Are Trusted

Our Expertise Makes The Difference

At Carolina Water Pros, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all water treatment. Every system we install is custom-sized and designed around the home’s water-test results, plumbing, flow rate, and household usage. An undersized system can cause low water pressure, hardness breakthrough, staining, unpleasant odors, and inconsistent water quality—especially when multiple showers, appliances, and fixtures are used at once. It may also regenerate too frequently, wasting water and salt while shortening the equipment’s lifespan.

Choosing the correct treatment media is just as important. The wrong media may fail to properly remove hardness, iron, sulfur odors, sediment, or other contaminants and could contribute to scale buildup, corrosion, clogged plumbing, stained fixtures and laundry, and premature appliance damage. While some competitors simply sell standard equipment, we provide a complete treatment solution engineered specifically for the customer’s water—delivering consistent performance, better protection, greater efficiency, and lasting value.
